There's no getting away from this discussion, and we are honest and open about things.  It costs about £10,000 to learn to fly, that includes your aircraft hire, instructor time and ground school.  This can flex and be less or more of an investment depending on how well you trake to the required learning.

Payments are made at the time, and can be made in 'bundles' saving 5% on the total cost, for instance bundle #1 five lessons and two ground school days.

Flying is an incredible skill to master, and it isn't for everyone.  We won't let you invest beyond your capability, it isn't fair.   

What we will confirm from the outset is a very fair appraisal of your competence, every possible encouragement and best training available to ensure that if 'it's not fopr you' we have all given you our best.

If you enjoy and show promise on your first flight, we will work with you to plan and execute a very tailored approach to flight training, giving you the best environment in which to leasn.

The 'ground school' exams are a very neccesary element of learning to fly.  Bomber County Flying School have dedicated team members, highly trained and all pilots, that are qualified adult education profesionals.  They also specialise in designing and delivering the curriculum in a manner that suits those challenges by learning from books alone, maybe through age, neurodivergence or simply, this is the first time you've learned to pass exams for a long time.

We deliver lessons in evening classes, and specialist days on the 'chunkier' subjects such as navigation' and understanding the weather. 

All of our ground school training is delivered face to face, we believe this brings out the best in you, and gives you the best opportunity to learn.

This is a great question.

The biggest determinent of our prices is fuel costs which fluctuate daily.  We want to ensure that you get the best 'deal' available and therefore we work with suppliers to make sure we track costs to give you the best return that we can.

When you call and book your flights, or experiences, we will be able to give you a guaranteed price that will be effective for a stated period of time.
