Archie Read
Archie is our Operations Manager. A qualified pilot Archie is the very embodyment of how a young man can succeed against what others may see as improbable odds.
At the age of 16 Archie was unsure what his future held, and only when he was diagnosed with ADHD did his pathway become clear for him. A later, additional, diagnosis of Autism shed further light on Archie's true self and from that point he began to thrive. 'A' levels were achieved, a Business Studies Degree followed, whilst full time at University he also worked in a full role in a busy ADHD service and at the time of his graduation, he had been promoted twice into mangerial posts.
Seeking his next challenge, at the age of 23, Archie embarked on his flying career, qualifying as a private pilot, an achievement that 6 or 7 years ago would have been deemed out of his reach and beyond his wildest dreams.
Archie is instrumental in developing the 'offer' and teaching methods we deploy for the neurdivergent student pilot.
