The journey begins
From the moment you are greeted by one of our knowledgeable and passionate team, your experience truly begins. We ensure every step is crafted to deliver world-class quality and the highest levels of aviation proficiency.
1. A warm welcome
Over a welcome drink, we will brief you on airfield and aircraft safety, review your route, and discuss how those in your party can get involved for photographs.
2. Meet your pilot
You'll then meet your pilot for the day, who will escort you to the aircraft. Our experienced pilots are dedicated to your safety and enjoyment.
3. Taxi and take-off
Once you are safely strapped in, the engine will start and you will taxi out to the runway threshold. The engine tone changes, acceleration begins, and you are off, airborne!
3. In flight and landing
In flight, your Captain will point out the landmarks of choice and talk you through some of the manoevers they will perform, before cruising back to the airfield for a celebration and photo opportunity

Your flight experience starts with an introduction, a safety briefing and an overview of your route. Your pilot will then introduce themself to you and it's then a short walk to the aircraft. And what an aircraft! Read more about WK558 below, but as a genuine ex-RAF example, and in concourse condition, this aircraft is the eny of many, and flying in her is a truly memorable experience.
Your flight over some of the landmarks that shaped modern history will be guided by your Captain, and inevitably you'll be taken back to previous generations and times, as you soar over the countryside enjoying what can only be described as 'one of the best experiences money can buy' - and all for a great cause.
On return, for tea and sandwiches, maybe a glass of fizz, you'll have photo's with the aircraft and anyone joining your party, you'll recieve your souvenir certificate and booklet, signed by your Captain, and you'll inevitably look out to the aircraft sitting on the 'apron' and want to go again.

617 and the Dams history flight
From Wickenby, out over into Yorkshire to experience the Derwent and Lady Bower Dams where the famous Dambusters practiced their historic raids. back via their home base of Scampton to complete this memorable tour.
Our Bomber County WW2 heritage
Taking off towards the former RAF Blyton a WW2 Bomber Base, over the former RAF Hemswell, where they filmed the Dambusters movie, over USAF Sturgate, one of few former American bases in the area, to the International Bomber County Memorial on a prominent hilltop outside Lincoln, and back via the Petwood Hotel, the home of the Dambusters as they planned their daring raids.
The Cold War and beyond tour
See where the mighty 'V' force bombers took off from at RAF Scampton, see from the air how the runway was extended and the main A15 artterial highway was rerouted to accomodate these magnicient aircraft. Then over the former RAF Binbrook where the response figthers lived to protecxt our bombers, and then to the coast and imagine the significance of the coastal Bloodhound missiles, set to protect our shores from enemy, Cold War, aircraft.
The aircraft
WK558 - delivered new in 1952 to the RAF as a basic trainer, this Chipmunk T10 was previously based at RAF Cranwell, and has been professionally restored into the RAF Cranwell colours. She proudly bears the Cranwell crest and also the signature light blue markings signifying this amazing heritage.
Powered by a De Havilland Gipsy Major 10 Mk.2 engine, the aircraft is as delightful to fly as she looks.
Now owned by our CEO Dr Phil Anderton, and hangared here at the former RAF Wickenby, the blend of history, the present and our future, is encapsulated in WK558's current 'purpose'.
